A two-day course aimed at providing participants with a range of theories about behaviour change that help to explain the client's perspective.

The course will enable participants to develop their skills to be able to work confidently with a client whatever their readiness to change. Over the two days participants will develop their skills in reflective listening and be introduced to some of the principles that underpin motivational interviewing, such as eliciting self-motivating statements from clients.  By the end of the two day course, participants will have developed a toolkit of strategies that they can apply when working with clients to facilitate behaviour change.
